D E Connaughton 0
Princess Cruise ships use 110v 60c with American plugs. What device is recommended to charge my iPhone & IPad. regards
Oldworldtraveller 2222
An iPhone charger with an adapter for US style sockets. It certainly worked when I was on a Princess ship last October. Edited January 10, 2020 by Oldworldtraveller
Captain Kidd II 797
There is a 220v socket behind the bed for vacuum purposes. Your steward could plug an extension in for you so you can use uk powered devices.
towny44 229
Most smart phones and tablets will charge up at either 110 or 220v, all you need is an adaptor plug, although newer ships now have USB sockets as well.
All At Sea 3
Apple chargers (like many others) are "switch mode" which means that they automatically adjust to the correct voltage. To be certain, check the markings on your charger. Making sure that it fits the available socket is another thing... I use this adaptor which has an integrated USB socket for charging https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B073RHKK8T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=
