Valerie 1
We are visiting Dubai for three days (two of which are before we join the ship). What are the "must sees" please? We saw the Burj Khalifa and dancing fountains last year.
Beth 3
The Burj Al Arab for afternoon tea is a great way to spend a few hours. We booked before hand, and had tea up at the top of the hotel with great views over the palm, etc.. We were also able to stop on for cocktails afterwards. There is the gold souk, worth a visit and the spice market. The shopping mall if you want air conditioning and don't forget the indoor ice rink. Incidentally we are going to Dubai next year again, did you book the Khalifa in advance? Were the views worth it?
Valerie 1
We only had a few hours in Dubai last year so didn't have time to go up the Khalifa. We saw it from the bottom and the dancing fountains which were breathtaking. Afternoon tea sounds lovely at the Burj Al Arab. Will look into that. Thank you for the suggestion. Portsmouth 2
Some people might be interested in visiting The Lost Chambers Aquarium I think this might be the largest Aquarium in the Middle East.
