sunnygirl 0
Hi, In september I'm on a 7 night cruise. One port of call is Bilbao. I would like to visit the Guggenhiem gallery. Can this be done without an excursion or do you think its best to book the excursion? Also, if we go with the excursion does the cost of the excursion include the ticket to get into the museum? Davybe 529
Yes you can walk from the town centre to the Museum ,but you will need to get into town from the Dock's? No Idea if the entry tickets are included, on any tours , but you can go online and book ticket's yourself...Davybe
Oldworldtraveller 2225
The ship will dock in Getxo which is about 12 miles from Bilbao. You can either use the ships shuttle bus or you can walk to the station and then the metro into Bilbao. Ships excursion does not usually cover entry to the Guggenheim Museum but it of course depends on which cruise line you are going with. You may find this web site useful as it contains a wealth of information. https://www.whatsinport.com/Bilbao.htm Edited July 30, 2017 by Oldworldtraveller
