Land Ahoy 797
Hi Here's a few of my favourites Bonaire - Not my favourite ABC Island, I usually go to beach and have a wander around the town Aruba - Go to the beach, or go to the centre to send a postcard from Hell. It's popular with USA tourists and so has plenty of casinos. Some of the rocks around the beaches are home to Iguanas Grenada - Buy spices and take the water taxi to Great Anse beach St Vincent - The main town isn't very tourist friendly, so I would take an excursion or stay on board St Lucia - Visit the Pitons and the drive in volcano St Maarten - Plenty of shopping opportunities or visit the French side of the island it's certainly more chic St Kitts - I'd take and independent tour of the island visiting Brimstone fort (the sand is black and all impossible to remove from your body). Antigua - I agree with Davybe take an independent tour of Shirley Heights and Nelson's dockyard, however, their are plenty of beaches (Pigeon island is popular) Dominica - Take a tour to the rain forest or my favourite take a boat trip to see whales and dolphins. dancefloordemon and Suetoo

Shrimper 5
Bonaire - get off the ship and just to the right is Divi resort. At Reception pay $20 a couple for use of sun beds, bar etc. Aruba - across the road from ship is the bus station. Pay a couple of $ and get a bus towards the High Rise hotels. Get off anywhere along the coast for beaches, restaurants etc. St Maarten - get off ship and either get water taxi or walk to nearby beach where you can get 2 sun beds, food, toilets and a bucket of beers for about $20. Antigua - a beach for every day of the year so lot of choice. Just ask a taxi driver to take you to a good beach (we like Dark Wood, it's quiet), plenty of taxis to bring you back. Shrimper 5
Aruba restaurant - we stayed overnight on Eclipse in Jan this year and went to Madame Janette's for dinner. A 10 minute taxi ride from the ship inland, an excellent restaurant with the best steaks and you can kick your shoes off and relax your feet in the sand under the table. Book in advance. Only suitable for overnight stop or late sailing as it opens at 5.30pm. Edited May 28, 2017 by Shrimper Word missed Suetoo
