buddy 104
Lately with P&O they have flown in artists who I must say have been first class. To think what you would pay to see these people back in the UK makes you think what good value cruising is. graphostar
Coolcruzer 1
You're quite right buddy,a couple of years ago we did the Fjords on Adonia. Ship was too small for us and lacked choices of venue but they flew Tom O'Connor in for the final week and thank goodness he made the cruise for us. We were lucky enough to spend a fair bit of time with him and his wife Pat both on board and ashore, and I'm pleased to say he still has what it takes. To have that sort of entertainment included, along with excellent vocalists and tribute acts etc is exactly what makes cruising such good VFM. graphostar
Sea Cruiser 89
I was on Azura in november and they flew a comedian out and he did 2 shows he was brill!! graphostar
graphostar 10
I recently came off a 17 night cruise on Ventura and the guest artists were so good, we only went to two of the ship's theatre shows - can't even remember their name! Annie Lennox tribute - great, Gary Barlow tribute - great, one fantastic comedian and one good one. As you say, not bad for free entertainment. The only downside is the Havana theatre was the venue for some of them - and it's not a good venue.
Davybe 529
I though the Artist on our Britannia cruise were all very good (apart from Paul Sinha) and you got two artist a night ,the production shows were also first class OMO, far better than the current ones on Eclipse...Davybe

All At Sea 3
Saw Tom Binns in February on Britannia. You may have seen him in "Hospital People" on TV. He did one night as Ivan Brackenbury (the hospital radio DJ) and was hilarious!

Especially when there was a real medical emergency call during his act.
