RiverSong 403
After advice please, I’m looking at some holidays and noticed they are using the Low-cost airline Norwegian air. Has anybody used these if so what are your experience’s?
Oldworldtraveller 2225
Used them several times to the Canaries and to Norway and they have a good safety record. They are on par with Easyjet with the exception that they have internet on board. Phoned the wife from 34,000 feet on Viber. Bumble Bee and RiverSong

Life0nMars 135
After advice please, I’m looking at some holidays and noticed they are using the Low-cost airline Norwegian air. Has anybody used these if so what are your experience’s? Used Norwegian last Month back from JFK. They weigh your hand luggage on check in to ensure that it is not over the 10Kg limit. The weight of normal suitcase is 20Kg unlike most other airlines being 23Kg. The Dreamliner I found a great Plane but it is short on seats with Exit rows for those with long legs. You need a Credit card to purchase drinks etc on board, This is all done by swiping your card in the monitor slot in front of you. You even order your drinks from the same terminal which is your inflight entertainment unit. You have to purchase earphones unless you use your own. The iphone ones fit. It is very basic and depending on the class of ticket you have, you also have to purchase on board food . You do not see any staff during the emergency drill, this again is done by the onscreen monitors. We had an american crew we never saw them unless they were delivering the orders people had ordered from their terminals or they were serving pre purchased meals.
