chasg 1
I was very disappointed with this ship. Although our cabin was midships , the noise of waves hitting the ship in moderately rough seas was like a train running through the cabin. The duty officers comment that it was the sea was less than helpful. The fact that many customers were reduced to sleeping in the atrium confirmed that the noise was not confined to our cabin. I was also disgusted to be charged an exorbitant amount to borrow a wheelchair, never having been charged before by princess, p&o ,cunard,or olsen lines, and to add insult to injury we had to pay to visit the medical facility to confirm that my wife, a chronic invalid required a chair, again for the first time. BLACK MARK P&O. chasg josca
caerglowhill 8
I visited the medical dept on Ventura and had the use of a wheel chair, but I was not charged, I do not understand the comment
tindall1039 2
It pays to be prepared and take your own wheelchair. As long as it is a folding lightweight manual chair you shouldn't have any problems and the crews are most helpful when embarking or disembarking. My husband unfortunately died earlier this year but we enjoyed many cruises on Azura,Ventura and Oceana without any problems, even some tenders. caerglowhill 8
I agree with the comment, take your own chair, the staff are very welcome the only problem we have experienced was on the small ship Adonia with the carpet strips, which are very high and also disembarking, it does help if you can walk a few steps

Virginia 0
Did anyone out there on the Ventura from Barbados to Barbados starting Jan. 24th, experience the engines stopping one night? Virginia
angel 121
I went on Ventura to the Canaries and loved it. The only disappointment we had was on the return and hit a bad storm in the Atlantic but wasn't the ship's fault.
