Everyone's Favorite Cruise Ships!

Recommended Posts

Hello all

I thought it would be a great idea for people to list all of the ships they have sailed on in the order of which they most enjoyed. For example I have travelled onboard Queen Elizabeth, Oceana, Reflection and Royal Princess. If I was to order these, most enjoyed to least enjoyed, the list would be as follows...

Oceana – P&O Cruises

Reflection – Celebrity Cruises

Royal Princess – Princess Cruises

Queen Elizabeth – Cunard Line

I think this will make an interesting read for all as it will help illustrate how peoples favourite ships are based on personal preference and the experience received while onboard.

Maybe admin will make this a sticky thread if it goes down well  ;)

We have sailed on Adonia 3 times

Adonia (P&O)

Braemar (Fred Olsen)

Queen Mary 2 (Cunard)

Artemis (P&O)

Balmoral (Fred Olsen)

Aurora (P&O)

MS Nieuw Amsterdam (Holland America)

Ventura (P&O)

We are also due to sail on Celebrity Eclipse in September, it was recommended by our travel agent.

I'll report back following that cruise.

Ventura x2

Oceana

Independence of the Seas

Caribbean Princess

Oceana is also a close favourite for us jessy63. We're due to go on the Arcadia soon..do you reckon we like P&O? :)

We love Oceana Mikey. It has something for everbody which makes it perfect for all age groups, it's the perfect size and most importantly a very friendly ship

We prefer smaller ships. During the last 4 years we've sailed with luxury lines including Regent, Seabourn and Azamara, but our favorite is still Oriana.

  • P&O Oriana
  • Azamara Journey
  • Seabourn Sojourn
  • P&O Adonia
  • Regent Voyager
  • Fred Olsen Black Watch
  • Cunard QM2 (we did like the QM2 but prefer smaller ship)

Best regards

Mike

Lot of love for Oceana on this thread, have to say it's one of my favourites as well though.  I love Oceana with P&O.  Also done Ventura, Oriana and Aurora.  Had a good time on all but Oceana and Aurora are definitely my favourites.  Been with Holland America which was nice but wouldnt rush back over the others, also done Celebrity Reflection and Equinox which were both great.  Really want to try the new Royal Princess now.

We have sailed with Princess cruises since 1997 and have been on the following The Dawn, Golden, Grand, Island, Coral, Sun, Sea, The old Royal Princess and about to go on the New Royal Princess in December hope they have sorted all the problems out by then.

Our favourite would have to be The Coral and her sister ship The Island great when doing Alaska

The Old Royal only 650 passengers we did French Polynesia very intimate loved it

Have also been on P&O's Ventura but still come back to Princess
