Guest Solent Richard
Tomorrow is the first day for bookings on P&O's latest 2016/2017 cruise schedule. I have registered with my Bolsover Agent, Poppy, for a specific cruise with a specific suite/mini-suite grade on a specific deck. The price quoted to me was very attractive because I also made use of Bolsover's 'Loyalty Discount', which came on this flyer... It's all well and good writing about deals and service after the event, hence this thread in advance. Since using Bolsover Cruise Club I have registered for three such launch sales: including this one. Of the other two Poppy secured exactly what I required on day one, indeed, I have just completed the Britannia Maiden cruise. The Challenge is to make it three in a row Bolsover. My faith is with you. Anyone else in on the launch? Bumble Bee, hturtle and DavidH
cruise addict 164
We to have mad use of this offer and have booked two back to back cruises in a mini suite. WE know where we like to be on the ship and by booking early we should get what we want. I know you can get bargains when you book late but I am n ot a good sailor and need to be mid ship so we are prepared to book early. The extra discount from Bolsover made the price very attractive. Keeping my fingers crossed for a phone call from Jess tomorrow. Irene dancefloordemon, Bumble Bee and hturtle
sammy sun 1084
I have only ever used the Bolsover pre-registration service once and that was for an upcoming special occasion but I would definitely use it again. I was contacted without fuss on the morning that the cruises went on sale and informed that my first choice cabin had been arranged for me and that the booking was all complete. Simple and effective. I don't think you'll be left disappointed Richard, as you say, they seem to know their job very well. I've always been impressed with the service I have received and I do think the loyalty offer is excellent.
Barb44 5
We have also pre-registered with Bolsover and are awaiting a phone call from Donna today. We have pre-registered a few times and always obtained our first choice of cabin. We have been booking through Bolsover for the past 10 years and have always been very satisfied with their excellent service. Barbara

Guest shilly3191
I didn't even know they were taking advance reservations. You could book with any TA in the country on 9th April if you were in the relevant Caribbean and above tier. Had received quotes from all major online cruise specialists and P&O direct and they were exactly the same price except for the loyalty bonus given by Bolsover. We happen to be in our local town yesterday and called in national chain TA and they quoted us exactly same price as all others but said they had a special offer of an extra 5% discount so we booked it there and then. RiverSong 403
I like the service & all the staff at Bolsover, they have always looked after my Aunty and now look after me. For me that is worth a lot I am very happy with them so don't see the point in going to any other agent. Bumble Bee, linzi1907, Furby and 1 other
sammy sun 1084
I have to say I agree with Riversong, I like the service I get with Bolsover. Nothing against other agents as I have used others in the past but when it comes to a cruise there's only one place I go now. I've used Thomas Cook in the past for a land based holiday and after being booked in the wrong hotel then accused of it being my own fault, it's not something I would do again. Needless to say having listened to the phone call I made with them to confirm the hotel, they eventually admitted fault but thankfully I no longer have to suffer service like that. RiverSong 403
Thomas Cook are having a few problems, personally I don’t like to see any company in trouble, but when it comes to Cruises I prefer to use a specialist like Bolsover, yes I have heard rumblings that if you shop around you get a few extra pounds off. Let’s be honest you get what you pay for, no hided chargers excellent service, my Aunty has dealt with the same lady for 10 years!!! You only appreciate how good they are when you have a problem and you deal with a person not a generated response. J-Dog

When i had my issue with Thomas Cook I was passed from pillar to post and it proved almost impossible to speak to the initial sales person I had dealt with when booking the holiday. For the sake of a small difference in price, I prefer to book with someone I trust.
AFC04/03 156
It really makes me laugh when there is a 'special offer' that literally means 'hi we are making a loss this week to try and get people in the door because we our highstreet business is drying up' no agents get special tratment with big % discounts it simply means they are taking a chance and hoping they can make the money back when you book your next cruise. It might be controversial but i'm sure we have all heard about other well known nationwide companies that went under with these practices. Echoing all the other feeds before me you get what you pay for. dancefloordemon
cruise addict 164
Bolsover were very good when we had to cancel a cruise and were able to set us transfered to another. As you have said for a few extra pounds (if that is what it is) I would rather deaL with the experts who have never let us down and have always been very helpful. For me it will always be Bolsover I use when booking a cruise J-Dog
