Guest Solent Richard
Very popular on some forums is the addition of a 'Cruise Ticker' to a members signature bar. Having now got mine up and running other members may wish to add one for themselves. These tickers are totally free and require just a small amount of time setting up. Anyone interested? RiverSong 403
Excellent, we need one on this forum, would really work. I use a countdown app on my phone

Oldworldtraveller 2225
Personally they are not for me in the same way as I never show cruises I have done and those upcoming in my signature on another well known forum. I know roughly how many cruises I have done, how many cruise lines etc. and as I do not feel a need to tell others why would I want one? Terminator
jaguar01 546
I certainly feel a comment soon from Terminator and i think I could allmost write it now. Rodger.
Terminator 916
Hi Rodger Bet you wouldn't be right though. If members want a ticker that's their business...I have no problem with it. Not my style...it's a bit ostentatious for me. P.S...if you tick the right box on your settings you never see them anyway. Pesky Pirate
Pesky Pirate 172
I don't see the point of them either…. everyone has to start somewhere. Whilst the experience of other cruisers are welcome when a person is just starting out I think that if, when I went on my first cruise, I saw how many cruises people had done I think I might have felt a little intimidated by it. I think I had done around half a dozen cruises before I ever joined a forum and even then didn't ask for advice as I had found quite a bit out for myself by then, and I am into my 20's now…
seawitch 291
39 years since my first cruise, my memory wouldn't be good enough to remember the ships, ports and cruise lines. DavidH
