Land Ahoy 797
HI The number of amenities on most cruise ships have increased in number and variety over the years but which facilities/amenities do use not or rarely use? I don't use the gym or sauna, bathroom robes or the towelling slippers provided onboard or attend bingo. I never use any of the fore mentioned items at home so I don't see the point of using them on a holiday.
Guest shilly3191
Gym, sauna, spa, pools, bingo and quizzes.

ron 606
I am the same as everybody who has posted so far, at my age do not see the point in trying to become a fitness fanatic do not swim no saunas do not like bingo not clever enough for quizzes, just like to relax and watch the world go by
dst87 353
I tend not to use the buffet or the gym (though I have used both in the past) - I'm not a fitness fanatic at home so I certainly don't intend to be one on holiday! I occasionally use the pool though.
jaguar01 546
Hello, Gym ? wheres that then ?.I have never been in a Gym in my life. I also don't use the slippers or the robes and certaunly not bingo. I do like quizzes but need a lot of help. I have met some very nice people when doing them. Rodger. Tally 392
I don't use the Gym or the pool. I have used the bathrobes but I take my own slippers.
smtcan 274
I don't use the gym, spa, casino or bingo and especially not art auctions. I do use the robe (in my cabin), but take my own slippers. I occasionally use the pool, and enjoy trivia, but although I sometimes browse the shop I rarely buy anything there. DavidH 596
Have visited neither a Spa nor a Casino (other than having to pass through unavoidably) - my wife, however, does have the occasional Spa treatment.
buggalugs 44
I don't use many facilities also. I suppose it is an excuse to take advantage of the facilities and try out something you don't normally do. I enjoy the ability to just please yourself and do want you want when you want and if you don't want to do anything at all that's great too.
cruise chef 866
Bingo, art auctions & the hairdressers, The rest are all fair game!!!
iknowlescourier 207
Never been to the Spa. Assume that I will get the hard sell whilst in there to buy further treatment.
dst87 353
Never been to the Spa. Assume that I will get the hard sell whilst in there to buy further treatment. I was really concerned about that too, but it wasn't my experience (on Celebrity Eclipse). In fact I wasn't even told about (let alone pressured into selling) any additional products during or after my massage. Ultimately if they did that during treatments they'd put a lot of people off coming back Remember, this isn't a bait and switch where they offer cheap treatments to sell products; the treatments themselves are quite expensive. iknowlescourier
RiverSong 403
Touch wood, the Medical Centre and I hope to never use it and the Hair Salon always have my hair cut and coloured before I go on holiday

Seadogdave 3
No to Art auctions gym after day 4or 5.Theatre as shows are very samey and most are similar. would love to see a play performed onboard. Saw potted potter once and throughly enjoyed it. what sort of acts would you all like to see onboard instead of the norm?
MG16 149
This is a good question. I never use the gym, spa, art auction and or attend the port lectures. I don't know why they even have an art gallery on most ships, who buys them? A lot of the replies have been about the sauna, my dad loves to go in the sauna every day on a cruise before getting ready for dinner. He's not too happy now on a lot of the larger ships you can't get into the sauna unless you buy access to the spa.
Chris J 5
I never use the spa as I stretch myself to pay for the cruise I want and just can't afford to pay the extra. If I had the enough cash I'm sure I would enjoy it. I don't use the Casino for the same reason. I don't use the gym, mainly because I'm too lazy to get up for the activities which would suit me. But I do like to walk on the promenade deck and it frustrates me when I can't get all the way round. I enjoyed 2 plays on the Adonia but they were in the afternoon and it meant missing the fresh air and the sunshine.
Davybe 529
I walk past the gym, bypass the art Auctions , the dodgy watch sales, Bingo ....Davybe
smtcan 274
Definitely do not visit: Bingo, Art Auctions, Spa, Casino, Gym or sale tables. Rarely visit the shops and I only remember buying anything when I had a lot of OBC to spend. I do like a bathrobe but prefer my own slippers. Up to now I have not paid extra for a private deck area or cabana. Sheila
Oldworldtraveller 2225
Art Auctions, Spa, Speciality Restaurants, Casino, Shops, Photographers, Room Service, Wi-Fi unless free.
sammy sun 1084
It's funny how we disagree on things. It's what makes the world interesting I guess. I do use room service, wi-fi and certainly speciality restaurants, in fact I love them.
