If we have pre registered, should we find out on the day the cruises go on sale if we have got what we wanted or does it take a few days to confirm ?

Pre Registered Cunard QE 2018 Full World Cruise

HI...Just to let you know the latest...I have pre registered for the Full World Cruise on Queen Elizabeth. Feeling very excited about this. I will get confirmation of cabin etc when Cunard go on sale 5th April 1pm !!!!. Thanks for the help and advice.

I waited till my children were older and going on their own holidays before I went to Norway...hope you are going on a ship with lots of activities for them and then they will be fine. Not a place I would have taken them to be honest...sorry

Azamara is still our favourite cruise line...love the ships, the ports they visit and the high standards. The last one we did was 15 nights from Hong Kong to Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore. Stayed at some ports for three days which enables you to experience the country even more. Looking forward to our next one in the West Indies and seeing the new refits.

Hi well it's a concern of mine that I could get bored on a world cruise, but some of you have given me faith that this will not happen. I have decided that I will do the 2018 world cruise and if I get bored then I will not do it again !

Hi yes I have seen the new cabins and they look very nice. The idea of a Night in a private place appears a great idea...just not sure how private it is when it's situated next to a large window next to the gym and CCTV are all around LOL. Azamara is still my favourite cruise line...love the small ship and the fact it stays at interesting places for more than a day. We did Hong Kong to Singapore for 15 nights in 2015...was the best cruise so far we have had.

Hi I am looking forward to Queen Victoria in September and then my favourite cruise line and ship at the end of the year, Azamara Quest. August I will be booking my world cruise for 2018...a very exciting year ahead !

Hi thanks for all the comments, Tips and suggestions. I will look at HAL and compare. I am favouring at the moment, Queen Victoria or Queen Elizabeth. I am presently in Cape Town and Queen Elizabeth is in and docked at a prime location, two years ago when Queeen Mary 2 was in she was moored about 2 miles away in a cargo yard, so that's put me off QM2...I have previously cruised with QM2 and she's a very nice ship though ! I love Azamara, but their two ships or similar size ships are too small for a world cruise, so I will look again at P and O. Thanks everyone again, most appreciated...anyth

Hi...I am wanting to book my first world cruise this year, departing January 2018. I have started my research. I am thinking Cunard, but wanted to know if anyone can suggest or recommend any others. My criteria is a full circumnavigation on a good ship. My worries are that I may see the world from cargo docks...I know corners are being cut with some cruise lines, but to be docked next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge would be one of my highlights. Any views or tips are much appreciated and any positive or negatives experiences of a full world cruise also welcome. Thanks
