  1. The only line who does separate 1st /2nd class passengers is Cunard that is why I won't go on them!
  2. I agree, last year we saw a group of people cover loungers in the spa area. Quite sometime later two of those people came back and tried to spread themselves from one lounger to another. Needless to say this looked suspicious so we followed them out only to find they had about 8 loungers outside as well! A group of us complained until the steward dealt with it.
  3. We have travelled on most of the cruise lines Princess being the line we cruise with mostly. Tipping is a problem as tipping is rewarded for good service as a thank you and should not be added to cruisers accounts. It's a personal thing. We like to tip cabin staff and personal waiters and anyone else we feel has been particularly helpful. We prefer to do this personally and directly to ensure the money goes where WE want it to go.   4. Most restaurants whether on board or not will supply a free jug of water! Just ask.
  5. There is no difference in service on which sitting you choose but it does depend where you are cruising. For example, if you are somewhere hot the early evenings are so beautiful and it seems a shame to leave your lounger to get ready for dinner and leave the best part of the day.

  7. Yes you are right the photos are too pricey. I also find a lot of the photographers, not all, I would not class as photographers just 'snappers' . Most people have their own digital cameras these days anyway.
  8. We have cruised for many years and, at first, the on board photographs were welcome but now we feel it has become more of an intrusion. In fact, the poses are more or less the same but we just look older! We do appreciate newer cruisers perhaps do like them but smaller photographs and not so many, may be better. Some staff are too pushy!
