  1. HI, I think Azamara are lovely. The cabins didn't seem to be any smaller than other lines I have sailed with and certainly the dining, inclusive drinks, late evening departures from port make them the best value cruise line. Also, as long as there is enough storage in the cabin there's the rest of the ship to enjoy with lots of space in lounges and bars and even more important lots of space between sun beds!!
  2. Hi All, is there a website out there showing individual cabin layouts with P&O? The reason for my question is that there will be 3 or 4 of us and it is looking like cost will prevent us from having a cabin with a sofa bed so in the words of the song " The only way is up" on upper beds and in other reviews it seems some of these beds come out of the ceiling and some out of the wall, some mirror the bed below and some the upper beds seem to be in an l shape configuration!! Thanks everyone
  3. Hi, has anybody had an update yet as to when we can book our Grand prix tickets for our Oceana cruise next year? thanks in advance
  4. hi, I think Celebrity are brilliant, only been on Eclipse, really loved the speciality restaurants although the main dining room was excellent too, can't wait to go again
  5. Hi All, has any member been on Viking Star? If so what is your opinion? Thinking of Caribbean 6 January 2017. Thanks very much
  6. Hi there, this is something I would love to do and at the moment it looks to me that Celebrity or Silversea would possibly be the best to do this cruise. I have had a price today and Silversea is cheaper than Celebrity which I didn't expect at all. I still need to save up though!

Hi nick1310, I've been to the Fjords for the last 2 years in July. The first time the weather was absolutely glorious, temperature 74 degrees and really sunny except for Bergen when it poured with rain but it wasn't cold. This year the weather was very mixed but the stunning scenery sure makes up for the weather. I'm sure you'll have agreat time and as you say, going from Southampton means you can take an extra suitcase with your woollies in!
  8. Good comments, I'm not that far from Chesterfield so may book in person next time!
  9. Had a great time on Ventura in the Fjords. Captain made an announcement that 1900 pax onboard had never sailed with P&O before! Scenery was stunning, weather was mild and we had two really hot days. Booked a late Saver, allocated Second sitting, asked if we could change to freedom dining, Maitre'D said no but it was worth a try. Ate in Sindhu one night and it was fabulous. Service was excellent and the food was fabulous. Very impressed with the Beach House, only £5pp supplement and again the food and service was excellent. Only one port (Geiranger) where the wheelchair couldn't go ash
  10. Hi everyone, I've just been on a tour of Britannia and can't wait to book my holiday for 2016. The atrium was lovely, lots of activity going on. Outside on the decks it was nice to see sofa seating areas as well as sunbeds. The Epicurean menu looked fab as did Sindhu. Single balcony cabins are a good size and so glad that it is a proper shower cubicle rather than a flappy, clingy wet curtain! looking forward to booking Britannia
  11. Hi, you'll have a great time. Ports of call are fab and oceana a lovely ship, really easy to get around and you'll soon feel at home
  12. I booked a Late Saver for July on Azura and was lucky to get midship balcony on c deck although not the dining we would have opted for and the mD wouldnt change the dining as the ship was full.
  13. Hi there, just got back from a well deserved shopping spree in Meadowhall and went in to the new shop! Very stylish, staff were really friendly - Good Luck to all concerned.
