I would love to try an msc. I have only read reviews like this on the ships but a friend of mine has been and they loved it! the ships are very nice and apparently they do a good drinks package! unless you travel with them you don't know how good they are!

Even on casual nights I don't think shorts should be allowed. My partner on the casual nights wore chinos/smart jeans with a polo tshirt/shirt. I just personally think if passengers are going to wear shorts it just looks abit scruffy. they can go wear them in the buffet.

I think the pools are more than suitable. like everyone has said there are several pools around the ship. as you know there a children pools, ones for swimmers only, terrace pools. in my opinion I think they are quite a good size...and you are on a ship not in a leisure centre swimming baths!

gina1991 got a reaction from Sailaway in Is it worth pre booking flights seats with P&O to the Caribbean?
I didn't pre book my seats when doing a med cruise as only a couple hour flight. but doing the Caribbean we have pre booked our seats as its a long flight and I wouldn't like to be sat at the other end of the plane.

gina1991 got a reaction from Furby in Azura Caribbean- WOW!
Me and my partner have just returned from 2 weeks in the Caribbean on the Azura and it was just amazing! I have cruised a little before but it was his 1st time and he loved everything about it! from start to finish the service was fantastic throughout, the food was delicious and couldn't complain about anything.
When we got on-board we went on to find our cabin which was at the back of the ship on Riviera deck, cabin R703 (partially shaded), I was a little sceptical but had nothing to worry about at all. the cabin was very nice- the décor could be a little more updated, the balcony was lovely and it meant when we did have rain showers we could still sit out and enjoy the hot weather and not get wet!
The food throughout the cruise was faultless. we ate most evenings in the main dining room and had a table for 2. they gave us the pager and told us it may be about 30 minutes waiting time, however 5 minutes later and it started beeping. even though it is plated meals in the dining room the food was very tasty and plenty to eat and had a lot of different choices on the menu. One evening we dined in Sindhu, we paid £15pp on the cruise personaliser and It was the best meal I have ever eaten! the service was fantastic and I would definitely eat in there again  the beach house was also really nice food, big portions and cost £7.50pp.
The ports of call we visited were Barbados, Antigua (rain all day so was a wash out), Amber cove, St Kitts, Tortola, St Lucia, St Maarten, Martinique and Grenada. My boyfriend absolutely loved St Maarten, we visited Maho beach (the airport beach) in the morning and got there around 8.30am and stayed till around midday. we saw a lot of planes coming in and also one take off which left everyone running after their towels and even someone rolling into the sea! Barbados was lovely we went to the boatyard which for $20pp got you a sunbed, a free drink and a 30minute snorkel with the turtles- the sea here was so calm and clear blue- it was a perfect start to our holiday  Tortola was absolutely beautiful we visited Cane garden bay for about $8pp in a taxi/truck from the port. the scenery is beautiful and is a day to remember. the only port we didn't really enjoy was Martinique (it was more like a French city).
Overall, we both had the most amazing holiday and one we will remember and cant wait to look at booking a future cruise!

I really like the bigger ships. I've been on Ventura and really enjoyed that and due to go on the azura in November so really cant wait. we are also on the world biggest cruise ship, the harmony on the 26th may and so excited to see the ship! I think for me, the bigger ship suits as I am young and enjoy all the facilities on-board

I have booked through Bolsover before and the service has been excellent! wouldn't go anywhere else. they are always cheaper then p&o, so why book it over the internet when you can get it cheaper and also speak to someone, especially if any problems do happen?
