On Wednesday 25 February, Bolsover Cruise Club hosted an exclusive wine tasting evening with special celebrity guest Olly Smith. Fresh from his latest ventures at sea, Olly joined Bolsover Cruise Club staff and VIP guests for an evening of food and wine tasting on dry land. It was a great opportunity for customers to meet the ultimate wine connoisseur himself before the grand opening of his latest Glasshouse restaurant on board P&O Cruises’ newest ship, Britannia.

Bolsover Cruise Club auctioned tickets for the event and the winning bidders received 1 pair of VIP tickets to the evening, a meet, greet and photo opportunity with Olly and a goody bag to take home with a signed Olly Smith book, bottle of Olly Smith wine and P&O Cruises merchandise.

The ms Koningsdam debuts a new era in design approach for the line. As the first ship in the Pinnacle class, the 2,650-guest ship will have architecture and interior design that blends a fresh, contemporary styling in perfect harmony with the line’s renowned classic elegance.

Bolsover Cruise Club staff had the opportunity to spend a day on board MSC Splendida on Thursday, taking in the best of the on board facilities, looking at the full range of cabins and sampling the dining room dishes. Sadly the weather was not at it's best but it didn't stop the team getting some good photos of the ship.

Bolsover Cruise Club staff visited Quantum of the Seas in Southampton this weekend ahead of her inaugural voyage.

During their time on board they sampled everything on offer; from the delectable dining, dodgems & skydiving, to the Mama Mia production, they were absolutely amazed!

Bolsover Cruise Club won P&O Cruises Partnership Achievement Award 2014 at the UK Cruise Awards. The event was held on Thurs 29 Jan 2015 at Quaglino's in London's Mayfair.

Bolsover Cruise Club team members visited Quantum of the Seas in Southampton this weekend ahead of her inaugural voyage.

During their time on board they sampled everything on offer, from the delectable dining, didgems and skydiving, to the Mama Mia production, they were absolutely amazed!

P&O Cruises put the finishing touches to the brand new livery on its newest addition to their fleet - Britannia.

The bold new look on the bow features the world's largest contemporary version of the Union Flag, which required the following volumes of paint: 280 litres of red paint , 40 litres red for the shadow, 80 litres of blue, 20 litres of blue for the shadow and 160 litres for the big logo of P&O Cruises on the front of the bow.

The ship will also have two distinctive blue funnels carrying an illuminated rising sun motif which depicts the Oriental part of the Peninsular and Oriental (P&O) name on the company’s coat of arms.

The arrival of P&O Cruises Britannia is edging closer by the day! Are you excited to sail aboard this brand new ship? Today (9th May 2014) marks the 10th anniversary of Queen Mary 2, and Cunard is celebrating with all three Queens present in Southampton

Following the announcement of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver opening his first restaurants at sea aboard Royal Caribbean International's Quantum and Anthem of the Seas, Bolsover Cruise Club staff members sampled the delicious cuisine in Jamie's Italian in Nottingham, to get a taste of things to come. Let's just say we're sure it'll be a big hit with passengers on board!
