Tom Cruise got a reaction from bac in Why do people moan about using the hand gel onboard
This type of person will more than likely moan about anything and everything. If they don't realise that this procedure is for the good of the ship then they are just plain ignorant. It's probably the same people that don't think it's necessary to wash their hands after using the toilet. Imagine the moan they'd have if they were locked in their cabin for 3 days... in fact that's probably the best place for them

Planning a family holiday of this size will certainly take some hard work and good organisation skills but it will be worth it in the end. The problem you will face is family members may have different destination preferences, budgets and interests. You'll all have to agree on this before you approach your travel agent. I would suggest appointing a group leader, booking well in advance and certainly through a travel agent. Make sure you all communicate often, preferably via email.

Tom Cruise got a reaction from mylo2908 in P&O Cruises Vantage vs Getaways ???
I think there are pros and cons for both Vantage and Getaway fares. A Vantage fare gives you choice of cabin, dining arrangements and guaranteed benefits. You have peace of mind that everything will be as you’d like it to be. A Getaway fare will save you a few quid and you may get upgraded but it's a bit of a gamble. For instance, if it’s a specific cruise that you really want to do, is it worth waiting and worrying that it will be fully booked or what cabin you’ll end up in?

I've read what others think about this on cruise forums and all I see are people claiming that others have paid far less. Any experienced cruiser should be able to judge at the time of booking whether or not they are getting a good deal. It’s then their choice to book or wait to see if prices come down. Unfortunately this is life and not just within the cruise industry. I have yet to book P&O or Cunard since the introduction of these pricing structures.

Tom Cruise got a reaction from EMALIZ07 in Cruising with a baby?
    Congratulations on your new arrival!

P&O Cruises do make it really easy when cruising with babies. I sailed on Oceana but I believe Ventura and Azura are also very baby friendly. We had a cabin that slept 4 but I think rules state that the cabin must sleep at least 3 even though baby sleeps in a cot. Although we didn’t use it, the night nursery is a great idea and free. The staff that work there seem very experienced which enables parents to go out and enjoy their night. Baby food is available in jars and there’s always baby friendly food if you are weaning baby on to solids.

Not sure about nappies as we took a case full
