  1. We did an Emerald Waterways cruise down the Rhine, Main and Danube, Amsterdam to Budapest. It was fantastic! The ship was beautiful, the food wonderful and the crew brilliant especially the wine waitress at dinner who kept trying to refill my glass with the words 'you drink, I drive!'. The sighs and excursions were interesting and informative with local guides who all spoke excellent English. In the evenings there was relaxed entertainment and visits from from local bands or craftspeople. We never had a moment to be bored!
  2. We're booked on Meraviglia this June and can't wait. Our only experience of MSC was on Preziosa last June but we were in Yacht Club and it was fantastic. We've just got a balcony this time so will be interesting to check out the difference.
  3. You wait for ages for the opportunity to have a ship’s tour, then two come along at once. This week we had the pleasure of travelling up to the capital God’s country for a tour of the Koningsdam, moored on the River Forth at South Queensferry. After a good night’s sleep, in the Premier Inn, Drew was up early in the hope of getting a photo of the ship and the Forth Bridge in the dawn light. he just managed to get a picture before the mist rolled in and completely obscured them from view.   4. We did a ship's tour of Koningsdam in South Queensferry and can agree with everything that you have said. She is a beautiful ship, very elegant in an understated way. I'll put our review up soon too.
