  1. I've holidayed in the Dominican before and it was absolutely stunning. Beautiful views and the people were so friendly, not sure if this is the same across the Caribbean but I'm sure you will love the heat and the scenery
  2. I'm looking into booking on Celebrity next year, let me know how it goes!
  3. Not been on any river cruises myself but I've heard the Mekong river is gorgeous
  4. My daughter took her little ones on Royal Car Freedom of the Seas quite recently and they had the time of their lives
  5. Nice to meet you both!
  6. Mine has to be Ocho Rios in Jamaica. Obviously a beautiful country but the dock itself is an eyesore and the locals make it their mission to hassle you and attempt to rip you off!
  7. Hello there, I'm Jenny and I currently live just outside of Bath in a small village. I lost my second husband a number of years ago and got into cruising to get some company whilst enjoying the sights of the world. I'm currently trying to decide where next to go on a cruise - I think I would like something more 'interesting' destination wise as I've done Northern Europe and the Caribbean so far. Perhaps even Australia or South Africa as I've always dreamed of going there. When I'm not planning cruises I like to visit my daughter and her children who luckily live close to the sea i
  8. Nice to meet you! My daughter's partner grew up very close to Leamington Spa! Kenilworth to be precise. Wow, I'd love to have been on 6 cruises! I'm relatively new to cruising. After I lost my second husband three years ago I started going on cruises to make new friends and have been on two already. I went on a Scandanavian cruise with my daughter Rachel last year - Copenhagen was great fun. Make sure that you pay a visit to Tivoli Gardens and obviously get a photo of yourself and your wife with the Little Mermaid statue! My grandaughter was 4 when we went and she was incredibly ch
  9. My daughter has just taken her two on a cruise with Royal Caribbean and they sailed on the Freedom of the Seas which sails from Port Canaveral. Jack (he's 11) loved the surf simulator burgers from Johnny Rockets and whereas Megan (6) got stuck into lots of Ben and Jerry's ice cream at the ice cream parlor and loved meeting some of her favourite characters. I believe that the Freedom class ships alongside the Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas include some of the best kid's activities at sea - I'm wondering whether I could sneak onto the carousel - that's allowed, right?!!
